KB Home Design Center

As part of buying a new home, we got the opportunity to choose everything for our new home- carpet, flooring, lighting, faucets, appliances, electrical connection, tile and even the color of the tile grout! KB Home has a design center located in Natomas (in Sacramento) where we met our Design Specialist to assist us in picking out everything for our home. We were a little overwhelmed when we first walked in, but it ended up being a really fun process. We had the chance to visit the design center twice before we made our final decision on everything. Once we had the carpet and flooring picked out, the rest was a piece of cake. We comprimised very well and we had a lot of fun with it. It's all so exciting to know our house will be built exactly how we choose. Here are some pictures of a few details that will be put in our home. The first picture is the exterior lighting. The second is a picture of our carpet. We were thrilled to be able to choose a darker carpet first of all because we wanted a deep rich color as well as a dark color which will keep us sane in the long run with the dogs. The third picture is the lighting for our bathrooms, next is the stovetop (Vanessa can't wait to cook/bake in her new kitchen!) and the last is what our doors will look like. These are just a few sneak peeks of what will be in our house. We don't want to bore you with grout color, or faucets!
