Our Foundation Was Poured!

Our foundation was poured Tuesday evening (August 18, 2009) and has to cure for 7 days. We went by to take a look at it on Friday (when it was ready for us to walk on it!) It looks so small right now with just the cement poured, but it's really neat seeing the markings on the foundation of where everything will be- all the windows, doors, tub, sink, rooms and so on. We can't wait to see the frames go up and really see the structure of the house!

After the foundation has been cured for the full 7 days and the inspector gives approval, then KB will start getting the frames put up! We were told probably by the end of this week or the next. Then from there, everything will be on track and we'll get moving along. We plan on making more trips throughout the week and weekends once the frames go up so we can capture all the progress of the house! Hope you come back to see more pictures!
