We purchased our first home together!

Welcome to our blog! Some of you may already know and some of you may not....we have purchased our very first home! It has been a long time coming. We started the process of getting pre-approved in late January and started house hunting in mid February. We narrowed down our search to Placer County and then specifically in the Roseville/Rocklin area. We soon learned that house hunting wasn't as easy as it seems. Everyone had been telling us "Now is the time to buy!" and "It's a buyer's market out there right now!" However, the process wasn't as easy as we had hoped. After many weekends of looking at house after house, offer after offer (one which we waited on for about 4 months to then hear they wanted more than the asking price) we decided we needed to think of other options. We thought about maybe buying a new home (completely thinking this idea was far fetched) and decided to see what was out there. Sure enough, we did a little research, came accross KB Home in Roseville and sooner than we knew it, we were signing our contract for our first home!

It's all very exciting and we can't wait to see our finished product! We hope you enjoy following our blog as our home is being built and we can't wait to have a housewarming party and invite you all into our home.
